East German working lines

We are a West Kentucky breeder of East German (DDR) working line German Shepherds located near Kentucky Lake just east of Murray, KY.  Our dogs are members of the family and not raised inside a kennel.  We are a selective breeder and do not breed consistently so we do not have puppies available at all times.

The German Shepherd is a very versatile dog, excelling in herding, IPO, obedience, scent and other sports, They are also used as therapy and service dogs. Shepherds are loyal family members and love to spend time doing whatever their owner is doing. They love to work and will need daily activity of the mind and body.

All of our dogs are health tested. Hips and elbows are certified through the OFA and they are tested for DM. We are a member of the AKC, UKC, Good Dog, and the Paducah Kennel Club.

We believe German Shepherds have wonderful qualities; such as superior intelligence with a strong drive to learn, loyalty, confidence and are naturally protective. Our dogs should excel in competition sports, service roles and companionship with training, and they will have nice 'off' switches.
